Summer Bishil

 Summer Yasmine Bishil, born 17 July 1988, is an American actress. She made her debut by playing Jasira in 2007's film Towelhead, for which she received an Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead. There were a few roles in TV films and series like The Last Airbender (2010), 90210 (2011) and Lucky 7 (2013). From 2015 until 2020 she was a part of the Syfy show about a fantasy-themed drama called The Magicians as Margo Hanson. The September 11 terrorist attacks forced her family to return home to the United States. They settled in the Mormon community in San Diego where she attended the regular public high school for one week. The school didn't want to welcome her back because of the tensions that erupted in the U.S. after 9/11. She said it was difficult for her to return home. The first day I went to school, I was labeled a "whore" and someone said that they believed my dad was a terrorist financier. I was conscious from the beginning that no one would ever wish to be my acquaintance. The first time I was there, I was plagued by anxiety attacks.
